Description

Die Barry Callebaut AG ist eigenen Angaben zufolge der weltweit größte Hersteller von Kakao- und Schokoladenprodukten. An 50 Standorten rund um den Globus fertigt das Unternehmen für die Nahrungsmittelindustrie und Betriebe aus der Konditorei-, Catering- und Hotelbranche über die beiden Marken "Callebaut" und "Cacao Barry" diverse Produkte rund um die Kakaobohne. Dabei hat der Konzern mit vier der fünf weltweit führenden Süßwarenhersteller langfristige Lieferverträge abgeschlossen, unter anderem werden Outsourcing Dienstleistungen angeboten. Das Unternehmen ging 1996 aus der Fusion der französischen Cacao Barry und der belgischen Callebaut hervor.
