Description
Severstal PAO ist in der Herstellung von Stahl und Walzprodukten tätig. Das Unternehmen ist in den folgenden Segmenten tätig: Severstal Resources und Severstal Russian Steel. Das Segment Severstal Resources umfasst zwei Eisenerzkomplexe, Karelsky Okatysh und Olkon im Nordwesten Russlands, sowie zwei Kohlebergbaukomplexe, Vorkutaugol im Nordwesten Russlands und PBS Coals Limited in den USA. Das Segment Severstal Russian Steel besteht in erster Linie aus der Stahlproduktion und einer hochwertigen Verzinkungsanlage für die Automobilindustrie, einem Walzwerk, Metallwarenfabriken in Russland, der Ukraine und Italien, einem Recyclingbetrieb für Eisenschrott sowie verschiedenen weltweiten Unterstützungsfunktionen für Handel, Wartung und Transport. Das Unternehmen wurde am 24. August 1955 gegründet und hat seinen Hauptsitz in Cherepovets, Russland.
