Stockland engages in the business of real estate. It operates through the following segments: Commercial Property, Communities, and Other. The Commercial Property segment invests in, develops and manages retail town centres, workplace and logistics properties. The Communities segment manages a range of Master planned Communities, Land Lease Communities, and Apartments. The Other segment includes strategic investments and other items which are not able to be classified within any of the other defined segments. The company was founded by Ervin Graf in 1952 and is headquartered in Sydney, Australia.
