The Healthcare segment offers microscopes, cell culture observation devices, and scanning laser ophthalmoscopes. The Component segment includes industrial equipment, glass, and custom products businesses. The company was founded by Koyata Iwasaki on July 25, 1917 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
