Description
Nexans SA a pour activité la conception et la fabrication de systèmes de câbles et de services. La société opère à travers les segments suivants : Production et transport d'énergie, Distribution d'énergie, Usages, Télécoms et données, et Industrie et solutions. Le segment Production et transport d'électricité fournit des câbles haute tension et des services pour le raccordement de parcs éoliens offshore à des terres, sur de courtes ou longues distances, ainsi que pour des projets d'interconnexion terrestres et sous-marins transnationaux. Le segment Distribution d'électricité propose des câbles et des accessoires électriques et distribue l'électricité par le biais de câbles aériens et souterrains. Le segment Usage concerne l'utilisation de l'électricité dans les marchés finaux résidentiel, des infrastructures, industriel, commercial, des centres de données et de l'e-mobilité. Le segment Télécommunications et données conçoit, produit et commercialise des infrastructures de réseaux en cuivre et en fibre optique par le biais de solutions de câblage et de connexion prêtes à l'emploi pour les réseaux privés et les câbles spéciaux de transmission de données. Le segment Industrie et solutions soutient les fabricants d'équipements d'origine (OEM) et les acteurs de l'ingénierie, de l'approvisionnement et de la construction (EPC) dans le cadre de projets internationaux. La société a été fondée le 7 janvier 1994 et son siège social se trouve à Courbevoie, en France.
