Capital Securities Corp. engages in the provision of financial commodity investment services. It operates through the following segments: Brokerage, Corporate Financing, Dealing, Derivative Instrument, Futures, and Others. The Brokerage segment is involved in the brokerage trading, margin trading, and securities lending business. The Corporate Financing segment focuses on initial public offering or to register on the emerging or listed market, securities underwriting and sales, corporate finance, mergers, and acquisitions. The Dealing segment refers to trading securities and related listed stock instruments on a proprietary basis. The Derivative Instrument segment offers investment, consultancy, and issuance of derivative instruments. The Futures segment consists of business of domestic futures brokerage services, trading on a proprietary basis, futures consultancy, and managed futures enterprises. The company was founded by Tien Wen Chen on June 21, 1988 and is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan.
