Description
Koninklijke KPN NV ist der größte niederländische Anbieter von Telekommunikationsdienstleistungen. Der international aufgestellte Konzern bietet dabei sowohl Privat- als auch Geschäftskunden Lösungen rund um das Telefonieren an. Das zentrale Geschäftsfeld sind das Telefonieren sowie Datendienstleistungen über das Festnetz in den Niederlanden, mobile Telekommunikationsservices in Deutschland, den Niederlanden und Belgien sowie Datendienstleistungen in Westeuropa. In den Niederlanden zählt KPN in allen wichtigen Segmenten zum Marktführer. Mit BASE und Simyo in Deutschland sowie in Belgien ist KPN national jeweils einer der größten Anbieter im Bereich Mobilfunk. Zum Portfolio gehören auch die Wholesale Netzwerk Dienstleistungen für Dritte. KPN hielt weitere Beteiligungen an Mobilfunkfirmen u.a. auch in Tschechien, die aber zwischenzeitlich wieder veräußert wurden. Das operative Geschäft ist unterteilt in die Segmente "The Netherlands", "iBasis" und "Mobile International".
