Die Kontron AG (zuvor S&T AG) bezeichnet sich als einer der führenden Anbieter von IT-Dienstleistungen und -Lösungen in Zentral- und Osteuropa. Dabei ist das Unternehmen fokussiert auf den prosperierenden "Internet of Things" (IoT) Markt. Das Leistungsspektrum umfasst den Angaben zufolge unter anderem die Bereiche Rechenzentrumsbetrieb, Workplace Management, Managed Printing, Beschaffung, Integration und Wartung von IT-Produkten, SAP-Betrieb bzw. -Implementierung sowie Softwareentwicklungen. Das Geschäft ist unterteilt in die drei Segmente IT Services (IT-Dienstleistung in der DACH-Region sowie Zentral- und Osteuropa), IoT Solutions Europe und IoT Solutions America (sichere und vernetzte Lösungen durch ein kombiniertes Portfolio aus Hardware, Middleware und Services in den Bereichen Internet der Dinge und Industrie 4.0. - regional ausgerichtet auf Europa und Teile Asiens bzw. Amerika).
